Quesadilla

  1. Heat butter or olive oil in a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Place a tortilla in a skillet, sprinkle with cheese and spinach, and place another tortilla on top. So we have a quesadilla.
  3. Fry the quesadilla for one minute on each side. The dish is ready as soon as the cheese begins to melt.

Advice!

There is never enough cheese in quesadillas! Therefore, if you have invited a large group of friends to your place, stock up on them thoroughly. Also make some cold guacamole.

We fry, not bake

If you don't want to bake tortillas in the oven, fry them in a non-stick skillet. Put some butter or vegetable oil on it and put on medium heat.

Pour some dough into the middle of the pan, gently turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to spread the dough evenly over its entire surface. Then the tortillas will be thinner and more tender. Once the tortilla is cooked on one side, gently turn it over and cook for one minute.

Prepare tortillas in advance

You can prepare tortillas in advance. In this case, wait for the hot tortillas to cool down. Then place them in a plastic bowl, and place sheets of parchment paper between them. The dish can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, and in the freezer for up to 2-3 months.

Whenever you feel like fresh quesadillas, just add some cheese and fry them in the pan as described above.

And as soon as the quesadillas with cheese are ready, they can be served immediately. Of course, they won't taste as delicious as freshly baked tortillas that haven't been frozen and then reheated. So cross your fingers to be eaten in one sitting!
